Last Thursday Lt. Governor Barbara Lawton sent out an email to supporters asking them to sign on as citizen co-sponsors of the Doyle-Lawton plan to ensure every child in Wisconsin has access to quality health care.
You can read her email here and sign up as a citizen co-sponsor using this link.
To date, there are over 330 citizen co-sponsors
from across the state. But more importantly, you are spreading the word about the Doyle-Lawton plan to friends, family, and co-workers.
Here’s how the program works: BadgerCare Plus will merge 500,000 individuals currently enrolled in Medicaid, BadgerCare, and Healthy Start into one streamlined and comprehensive program. This will give every parent, regardless of income, the opportunity to join a state plan with affordable, comprehensive coverage for their children.
Like Lt. Governor Lawton said, without good health, little else matters. Access to quality, affordable health care is essential.
If you haven’t done so already, sign up as a citizen co-sponsor of BadgerCare Plus. And don't forget to sign up for our email list.

I was lucky enough to live in the great State of Wisconsin for a short period of time. I was truly amazed at the strong progressive policies of Governor Doyle. He has really been out front of many issues: healthcare, environment, stem cell research, and many others. So much progress has been made under his leadership, which was the result of new, positive energy that he brought to the Governor's Office. PLEASE, don't turn back on the progress that has been achieved! Get organized. Get involved. Get Doyle Re-Elected!children are our future

These children are our future and investing in health care for all is an important investment. This is great news that both Jim and Barbara are advocating for such a good thing. Thank you. We need this.
